Ashley Rohwedder, CEMT and Summer Sore Specialist is dedicated to providing holistic, all-natural alternatives for horses and their owners. In health care, the term holistic is used to describe treatments of the whole being: mind, body and spirit. Ashley’s massage goals are to re-balance, restore and relieve the soft tissue of the animal for it to perform at its optimal level.

Ashley Rohwedder, founder of Amare Equus, is a Certified Equine Massage Therapist dedicated to maintaining horse health and addressing contraindication with natural, traditional methods that fortify wellbeing rather than mask problems. Her services are designed to assist in routine preventative care for young healthy horses, early detection and therapy of ailments as your horse ages.
Recognizing the innate ability of the body to heal itself, Ashley's methods empower horse owners to take small steps to improve the overall health and wellbeing of their horses, regardless of their circumstances. Ashley's focus on client education allows horse owners to become part of the solution, enabling them to maintain the health of their horses by taking preventative measures.

Ashley travels year-round to for clients primarily in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Ashley earned her BSBA with a major in Marketing. She has previously worked in Washington D.C. and New York City in broadcasting media, marketing, finance and real estate. She earned her certification in pranayama and vinyasa yoga that has contributed to a deeper understanding of keniology. Ashley has always had a passion for healing animals, particularly horses and dogs. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, skiing, trail rides and competed in several triathlons. She currently owns an off-track thoroughbred that she re-trained as a hunter/jumper and trail horse. Ashley’s horse was instrumental in helping her studies, her practice, and horsemanship.
Ms. Rohwedder’s personal experience five years ago battling an 8 month summer sore on her own horse led to the development of the Amare Equus Summer Sore Solution: A proprietary method and treatment plan using a specific product that promotes skin cell growth to close the wound permanently.
