COLIC REMEDY

Combine 1 Tablespoon of fresh dill + 1 teaspoon of ginger-root + 1 cup of hot water.

Allow mixture to cool to body temperature before dosing.

Many European veterinarians use this remedy for horses with gas colic.

When a horse lays down and appears to be constantly looking at its stomach, this should raise concern.

Try to get the horse to stand up and call your vet to explain the situation as you are observing the animal.

Some horses may like to sunbathe.

Sunbathing is ok for short periods of time.

Also, please note if your horse shakes after rolling.

It is a good sign that your horse shakes itself, after a roll.
