Sweet Marjoram

Sweet Marjoram is commonly used for the following: analgesic, anaphrodisiac, antioxidant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, bactericidal, carminative, cephalic, cordial, diaphoretic, digestive, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, fungicidal, hypotensive, laxative, sedative, stomachic, tonic, vasodilator, vulnerary.

This lovely essential oil is used for conditions such as muscle stiffness, nervous spasms, sprains and osteoarthritis.

I have also used Sweet Marjoram for chronic lethargy and nervous exhaustion in humans and animals. It is a comforting oil that helps to balance the nervous system and relieve stress / anxiety.

Known for its soothing effect on the digestive system, indigestion and constipation.

Its warming effect on the emotions may give a feeling of comfort during grief and loneliness.

I believe it will give comfort to a horse that may be on short or long-term stall rest.

HOW TO USE: topically & inhalation

Present the diluted oil to the animal. If he chooses it by deeply inhaling or trying to lick the bottle, apply a drop to tips of ears, chest and feet. Show oil and allow to inhale 2-3x per day.

Caution: Always dilute essential oils with a carrier oil. Never apply undiluted essential oils.
